Will tinnitus go away when a ear infection cures?
I woke up with a sharp pain in my left ear, i went to the doctor that very morning. The doctor told me that it was an ear infection and gave me some ear drops and antibiotics. My brother helped me dropped the ear drops, and i ate my medicine. I slept for awhile and realised that my ear didn’t hurt anymore. However, it still felt slightly blocked, i went on with my daily activities. The next day, i started hearing buzzing sounds in my ear. Will tinnitus go away when my infection cures?

yes i would think so if the infection asn`t damaged any thing else, your doctor would tell you for sure.
Although a severe ear infection can sometimes lead to tinnitus and even some loss of hearing, the good news for you is that it seems to have been caught early and should respond very well to treatment.
Once the infection has cleared, the tinnitus tends to as well.
So keep on doing what you are doing and things should be fine. Just remember to finish your course of antibiotics, and don’t be tempted to stop taking them when your infection feels better. It takes the entire amount of antibiotics you’ve been given to make sure the infection is properly dealt with; otherwise it can sneak back.
All the best, and I hope you’re feeling better very soon.
