Tinnitus caused by ear wax?
Yesterday,I started to notice ringing in my left ear. Two months back I had a doctor checked on my left ear and said there was a clump of ear wax in that left ear which looked like a rock. I had it checked out cause my ear felt like there is pressure on it and it feels plugged. He gave me some olive oil drops to drop in my ear for two weeks and it did get better. I know the ear wax is still there so i think the ear wax caused the tinnitus..Do you think it will go away?

yeah it will go away when the wax comes out just keep using your drops.Oh, they also sell some ear wax remover at the store too. There is one called Debrox and it works really well
Go to an ENT (ear, nose & throat) doctor. The ENT will check your ears and let you know the best course of action.
The olive oil drop scan work really well for mild cases, but if you are experiencing ringing in the ear now than you have progressed passed mild. The ENT will give you better options for treatment.
No. I’ve had a problem with earwax ever since a wasp zapped me behind the ear. Had two quacks have a look with no resolution.
I would suggest you get one of those ear drop kits that has ear drops in them to dissolve the wax, and then an ear bulb to flush the ears out. Try that and see if it helps.
Sorry, but the ear wax doesn’t cause tinnitis.I’ve had it for years and was told I was loosing some hearing in that ear. Ended up getting a hearing aid (canal which doesn’t show) and helped the ringing. I suggest getting a hearing test & see if this is the problem. Good luck.
