Tinnitus, but only when laying my right ear on something soft?

Hello, when I lay my right ear down on a soft surface such as a pillow. If I close up my ears with anything else i don’t hear it, but as soon as I lay down I hear this ringing in my ear. This is only in my right ear. Do you know if this is something other than Tinnitus? Or if I could maybe just wash my ear out really well might fix it or something? Thanks!

Ensure you dont have a buildup of wax in your ear – this could be causing it. You can clean your ears using any saline solution which can be purchased at pharmacies.
If you do have tinnitus I recommend addressing the underlying causes – its the only way to get relief. A range of guides exist to help you with this, some of which are reviewed in the webpage listed below.

you need to see an ENT…anything could be causing it…dirty ears, heat, excess fluid in your ear, infection, bad teeth, tonsillitis.
