Ringing in my Ears, Tinnitus, Left ear specifically?
I have suffered with this high pitch ringing sound in my ears mainly the left one for one year now.It all started after a bad cold last year, its the ringing gets better but it is always there. When its really bad its like someone just flicked a switch and this high pitch noise starts. It then brings on panic attacks and starts to really freak me out. I have been to every doctor and specialist out, even had brain scans but nothing is wrong. Can anyone please give me any help if you know of anything that may relieve this horrible lifestyle. When its really bad I also feel pressure in my ears, one starts thinking that your having a heart attack and things like that, I feel like I am going mad, wouldnt wish it on my worse enemy. So if any of you out there have this and know of anything that may help, please do tell.Bye the way I have tried the tea’s and pills, etc etc, even tried Hyno, and massage. Nothing works.

My poor husband had this too and it drove him mad. He had to see several doctors before he found relief. It is true there is no cure – but there is help. Some men find hay-fever tablets work, some ear candling, and there are many other drugs to help you just have to experiment. My hubby found Pebonin (I think that’s how to spell it) was the best for him. Good luck my friend I feel very sorry for you, knowing how miserably it has made my hubby’s life.
sorry dude
there is no cure for Tinnitus.
I feel that you have consulted a specialist and have stumped him. Why don’t you ask him to reccommend another specialist to get a second opinion from?
it will go directly to this in a short time

Sometimes hearing aids that emit a ‘friendly’ sound will help to mask the more annoying/debilitating sound of tinnitus. Has your dr or specialist suggested anything like that? If not, it might be worth looking into…
Not sure if it will help but there’s some good info at this site
Could be a side effect of a medication (anti depressents, Codeine etc)
