Ringing in my ears after concert, could it be tinnitus?

I went to a rock concert on Friday night and was pretty close to speakers. Ever since I left the concert I have had a ringing in my ears. I don’t go to many concerts at all or clubs. Could I have tinnitus or will it go away soon?

yes, you have tinnitus, and yes it will eventually go away… but the tinnitus is evidence of you having permanently damaged your ears. Your hearing will suffer for it.
It should stop.
We studied sound in school recently in technology class, and the teacher said that it should stop after 36 hours.
