They say it takes a few months to work and I don’t know how long it’s been on the market.

Had slight ringing in right ear. Went to Ear Nose and Throat Doctor. Did tests. Passed all, everything was ok, hearing, no fluid, no wax, and the tiny hairs were not damaged.

Trying to find the cause of the tinnitus. Not taking any medications. Have narrowed it down to a couple things though….

-6 months ago I dove into shallow beach, hit head on sand…no concussion
-My girlfriend said I grind my teeth at night, I had my overbite corrected, and now have slight TMJ
-7 months ago I shot a loud rifle with no ear protection

I just noticed the tinnitus a month ago though….any help is much appreciated and will do best answer and 5 stars for good advice…

I have recently got tinnitus due to a many loud music nights but the last one just topped it and now i have a constant ringing in my ears.
The thing is, i don’t plan on giving up music concerts or parties and i have a festival coming up this summer where the music is going to be very loud. Can anyone suggest some good noise reduction ear plugs and where to get them? I’m willing to pay good amounts for good ones.

I can’t take this noisy sound in my ear. bother me everyday and driving me crazy.

According to a local medical report, symptoms of Nasopharynx Cancer includes Tinnitus (ringing sound in the ear).

However, from my knowledge, Tinnitus can also be caused by the ear being used to loud music, and the "ringing" comes when the ear hears silence (i.e. in a quiet room).

I’m getting it a little mixed up, could the Tinnitus that I have be the latter?

P.S. Medical check-up is costly and I wouldn’t wanna do it if it isn’t essential.

that hearing damage doesnt always mean not being able to hear, but instead can mean noise inside your head you can never shut off?

I need the location, problem/fact, cause, and treatment, and i can’t find anything!!!
Wikipedia isn’t always correct and i tried Google and the info i got was all too vague.

I was at concert, i went down to the front and i was standing next to the speaker for about 5Min’s, i came out and my ear was throbbing in pain, i went to bed the next day and it was in both, so me being my usual self i sat and cried the whole day thinking it was tinnitus which has no cure, then i spoke to my friend mum cause she’s a nurse and she said keep having steamy showers and take painkillers, i had done that went to bed and ive woken up this morning with my ear being completely blocked the other one is unblocked now but its just one now, Do i have tinnitus in my ear cause i stood next to that speaker for about 5minutes ? Have i burst my ear drum standing next to the speaker and the friction harming my drum or is my ear just blocked cause it may be the cold as well, but it had definately been the speaker causing a bit of it too. I was wondering if you have tinnitus do you get them in both ears or just the one? and what do you think i should do keep having steamy showers and painkillers and if doesn’tsnt clear go to the doctors? i was hoping someone with tinnitus could answer this question cause i thought you got tinnitus standing at a speaker for a large amount of time and what it is like to have tinnitus i can hear out of one ear but the other is completely blocked. perhaps ive just harmed it and its trying to recover but i really want your opinion

Next week I would have an appointment for treating an old lady.
Her problem is tinnitus, but of course this is just a symptom
and in fact quite irrelevant, unless for the blind.

She asked her GP about, and the GP says not to do it because it can interact with her pills.

How is this possible?
I thought mainstream medicine men only believe in the placebo effect of such treatments.
Can a treatment-placebo-effect interact with a chemical substance?
Do the placebo effect of the pill and the placebo effect of the treatment show destructive interaction?

Please scientists and fake scientists,
draw me the quantum probability curve of both so I can understand the phenomenon.

A curious remark :
he doesn’t know what kind of treatment (not the name, nor the application).
Is his reasoning scientific and double checked?
It it peer reviewed?
