In February this year, a teacher whacked my left year and it cause tinnitus since that time until now, it really annoys me, what can I do ?

Also when I’m stress or excited my tinnitus gets really bad.

I know there are alot of things that can cause tinnitus but anyone know why when I’m stress or excited my tinnitus gets worse.

Does tinnitus get worse in colder climates?

I’ve had tinnitus since I was a young kid. It seems like it’s getting worse with the cold weather, so I’m wondering if it can get worse in the colder weather?

Is detorating eye sight and tinnitus related?

My mums eyesight is deteriorating very quickly, her eyes are very dry and this all started about a year ago together with her getting tinnitus. She has been to specialist but all have said they cant do anything about either but something needs to be done and quickly. She takes Levothyroxine for an underactive thyroid which apparently is why her eyes are dry?? Any ideas?? Thanks

Anyone know about how to get on disability?

This might end up being kind of long… Got a complicated medical history lol. I’m 24 and have a lot of problems with me… starts with a Genetic disorder (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome or EDS), which is pretty much where all my joints dislocate REALLY easily and my skin is elastic. Since my joints pop out, I have arthritis and chronic knee and back pain. So I’m always in pain, just the severity of the pain changes. I’ll probably make a list of the things I have at the end lol. But if I walk around a lot, the pain increases… even just walking around a store. So bad that the pain meds don’t even touch it, well that and my metabolism is extremely high. Not many meds work right with me. My back mostly hurts when I try to sit for more than a few hours. Drs. haven’t figured out why it hurts or how to make it stop hurting. Same with my leg, just that physical therapy might reduce the pain and my knee is slightly displaced and pops out easily. By easily like my fingers pop out when ever I hold anything more than 5-10 pounds… can’t even play the guitar without them popping out of joint. Well tried guitar hero and they popped out. And hell I can’t even have sex without my hip popping out of joint. Then I have tinnitus. Recently figured that one out… thought everyone heard a ringing in their ears. And I have ADHD, moderate to severe. I had a few jobs (the kind that disability say I should be able to get via my age, education, and work experience) but they were too stressful/had a few interviews for some and I couldn’t read things word for word because I kept getting distracted lol. I also have a watery eye due to a cat scratch. And then I used to have an enlarged aorta, still do, or I never had one… when I was 17-18 I was diagnosed with one but the last dr I saw said my heart is fine. So until I get another exam, it’s still iffy as to if I really do or not. I think that’s about it. I usually forget one or two things when I list them… part of the ADHD lol. But I was denied 4-5 times now, and had a hearing. Now I’m getting a lawyer (Binder and Binder) and going to write a few senators about this… Any advice? I have a form saying that I’m pretty much disabled. Got a form filled out for Welfare and my dr checked all the ones like "Does this diagnosis hinder the person from working or severely limit their capacity for self support?" And "does this limit the persons ability to care for a child?" When I talked to the rep over the phone, she said to make sure I ask the drs to write a letter saying I am disabled.

Oh yea and I’ve had a lot of people say that it sounds like I might have Fibromyalgia? Mostly due to I have other pains, mostly when I lived near the ocean/when it rains/problems sleeping most of the time. But I doubt it. Oh yea and I can’t stand straight… my ankles are really stiff for some reason.

So lets see:
1. EDS
2. Chronic knee and back pain
3. Joint dislocations
4.ADHD
5. Tinnitus
6. cat scratch
7. Possible enlarged aorta or normal aorta/healthy heart
8. Possible Fibromyalgia?
9. Stiff ankles, can’t stand without being on my tippy toes.
I do take meds for my ADHD. I’m on Adderall XR 20 mg but 40 mg works a lot better. I’m not on that anymore due to I’m not in school and getting them from my primary care doc… Going to see if they can up it to 40 mg when I go back this month. And I usually use a cane… kind of those do it yourself/stubborn kind of people so I only use it when I have to do a lot of walking/standing. Helps but it doesn’t 100% keep me pain free. More like helps reduce the pain 40% at best.
And yea I know some people that got on it purely for bi polar…. She was just lazy though!

How to find new method to cure tinnitus naturally and permanently?

Does anyone know if penicillin can cause/or aggrevate tinnitus? If so please explain, any experience?

I’ll choose best answer
ive taken penicillin as i have swollen glands/lymph nodes. im a bit achey all over too, but no cold symptoms,

is tinnitus caused by ear wax build up permentant?

i had quite a severe build up of ear wax, which has never happened to me before, and since then i’ve got a loud ringing in that ear which i believe is tinnitus, i was wondering is this permanent? because i cannot concentrate and its causing me to lose sleep and get stressed, if it is permenant are there any ways of curing it???

Also when I’m stress or excited my tinnitus gets really bad.

I know there are alot of things that can cause tinnitus but anyone know why when I’m stress or excited my tinnitus gets worse.

Okay, so yesterday, I have developed a new tinnitus sound in my left ear and it’s never been a victim of ototoxicity. Okay, so, I wake up, and I notice the new sound in my left ear. I couldn’t believe it. It’s like my brain is filled with the Debrox ear drops I had accidentally used during a perforation. I went to the ENT on emergency and I was finally diagnosed with tinnitus from ototoxicity, but the doctor never told me anything about ototoxicity involving the brain. Instead, he warned me about the possible outcome of my hearing and my ears:

"I’m sorry, but I’m afraid the Debrox may have penetrated your round window membrane, entered your cochlea and caused your ototoxicity. I’m afraid you are going to lose all your hearing in a matter of months. There’s nothing I can do. I’m really sorry."

That’s what my ENT physician said when I saw him on emergency visit. I came home crying. There was no hope. I’m scared that my ears are dying. Can ototoxicity really involve both ears over time? I wish I could know, because I’m getting scared and I think I’m losing my hearing slowly on both ears.

I wanna ask you guys, am I going to lose all of my hearing just because I used Debrox during a perforation which according to my ENT physician, caused possible progressive ototoxicity? Because I’m really really scared right now. Should have NEVER have used Debrox during an eardrum perforation.
