Having had help for hiatus hernia and atrial fibrillation from these pages I now have another condition to deal with – I can’t believe that this is all happening to me this year.
Ttwo weks ago my right ear became completely blocked so that I couldn’t hear anything in it. My doctor said that the wax was solid and told me to use Otex until I came back from holiday and he would syringe it. The Otex gave me ringing in that ear . My ear has now been syringed (it was still completely blocked) but the ringing persists only much quieter. Although he said it must be tinnitus I think there is still some wax deep down in the ear but he says it is all out. Why did the tinnitus come on by using Otex? I would like to try alternative remedies but as I am on Warfarin and beta blockers there is not much I can have.
Any ideas, please, as the ringing is driving me mad.

Hey guys one of my friends has been suffering from ringing in the ears, also known as tinnitus ever since we came from that concert a week ago. Does anyone know of any good homeopathic treatment for tinnitus, that are simple and fairly easy to do.

I’ve suffered from tinnitus for 10+ years now and the noises themselves have never been too much of a nuisance, but in recent months I’ve started to experience significant pain, soreness, itching, tingling, and throbbing in my ears, along with headaches, jaw pain and vertigo. I’ve also been a severe teeth-grinder and wear a protective mouthguard at night. Should I be worried? And should I even bother wasting money to see a ENT if they’re basically just going to give me a hearing test and tell me to learn to live with it?

I don’t have Tinnitus, so I can’t check. I am wondering, if someone with Tinnitus can do a little test. Close your eyes, and ask someone you know to snap their fingers, hit 2 coins together, or any other small sound above, in front, below, and behind your head – and let me know if you can tell the difference between the audio positions with your eyes closed.
Thanks.

It is just too sad to stand by and witness my daughter battling to cope with the ringing in her ears! The tinnitus is not the worst though, because she find it hard to get to sleep her overall health seems to be deteriating. It seems to me that because she is always so tired and up tight, she doesn’t get to sleep much and nowdays seems to pick up every sickness that is doing the rounds. Can this be resulting from her tinnitus? I am searching for a tinnitus remedies right now.
