Is there an online program to stop tinnitus?

I have a terrible ringing in my ears and the doctor doesn’t seem to be making much progress. While waiting between visits I would like to try some things on my own. Are there any online programs you could recommend?

There are many different causes of tinnitus, so treatments vary with the cause. If the cause is unknown, treatments are a little more challenging. There are a variety of medications that sometimes help and certain therapies can help. I have it pop up every now and then due to middle ear blockage, and the original sudafed helps. First you need to go to an Ear Doctor and get a proper diagnosis. Then if it’s tinnitus that’s a symptom and not the cause. Tinnitus is usually caused by exposing the ears to excessively loud noise of some type. When there is damage to the eardrum from loud noise this symptom usually happens. Then it also depends on how bad the damage already done is too. These things can only be answered properly by an Ear,Nose, and Throat doctor and not by watching anything over the internet. It might give you info about how you get it, and repeat the same things I just said too, but the answer will always be the same. To find out if you can stop it you first need to know how bad the damage is. If you’re not happy with one then get a second opinion. Just because one doctor doesn’t have the answer, doesn’t mean that there isn’t one either. Try an ear doctor affiliated with the best "Center of Excellence" hospital near you.
