Is there a cure for Tinnitus?

My mom has it and its really bothering her. She’s had it for 3 years.

There are no cures. It comes up for me in the fall/winter – I think because the air is drier. I sometimes get vertigo as well. What I do when I notice it is get busy with something that takes my mind off it.
I have done a lot of research on it. Because there is nothing they can actually see that causes it, and there is no hearing damage or impairment caused by it (hard to believe but true), there are no known successful treatments that are reliable.
Meditation and prayer help me deal with it when it comes up. Resisting it or dwelling on it only makes it worse.
There is no known cure. It’s a symptom of hearing loss. I think of it as your body remembering something it no longer has. I once knew a man that had his leg amputated. He told me his toes on his missing leg were always itching.
I ignore my Tinnitus and I am rarely aware of it.
