Is it possible to have Tinnitus all Your life?

My sister and I both had tinnitus since we were very little.
I know what causes it; I just want to know if it’s possible to have it all the time.

Yes, it is possible to have tinnitus all your life and often there is no known cause.
You have to learn to tune it out the way we all tune out familiar noises.
