how many years do you think the doctors/scientists/researchers can find a treatment in tinnitus and shl?

since tinnitus is caused by many different reasons I think it will be some time before there will be any comphrehensive breakthroughs in this area. The brain is a very complicated area.
Yeah, I have tinnitus too, sucks when it is quiet uh. I have heard of a operation where they can do surgery and fix your hearing and stop that damn ring. Not to sure, had the option when in the Army, kinda kicking myself cause could have got that for free but did not trust army doctors nor the surgery, just know that there is something out there and it is probally very expensive.
