How do I get rid of tinnitus. (See symptoms in details)?
I also have a deviated septum that deviates towards the right nostril.
I went to an ear nose throat doctor, and all he did is throw some prescription for congestion and some kind of steroid. I don’t like taking drugs. How does a steroid help fix tinnitus?
Tinnitus is only in the right ear.
When I plug my nose and blow, left ear fills with air before the right ear. (Probably due to congestion)
I breath through my mouth often due to congestion in my nose.
When I wear earplugs and I chew on something, my right ear makes a popping sound. (the ear with tinnitus) This popping occurs more when I am less congested in the nose possibly because fluid isn’t draining to my nose properly? I don’t know.

my mom has it and sadly there is NO cure for it. She took vitamins to help her and many over the counter treatments and they didn’t work.
What she ended up doing was getting a hearing aid, after going to a doctor that specialized on it, and it reduces the volume of it but it never goes away.
If i were you i would go to another doctor and see what he/she says. get a second opinion. Also check if it is genetic, my grandma and my great aunts used to have it and i’m getting it too.
