Does alcohol cause tinnitus?

I just recently consumed a good amount of alcohol. And now I hear the tinnitus. Is this temporary or is it permanent? please help!!?!?!??!!?

Yes, It does. Once in a while it should not be permanent but prolonged use can make it become permanent. Also many drugs can cause tinnitus, especially any scalicylate like aspirin. Again they are usually temporary and will go away with the affect of the drugs but there is a chance of permanence w/longtime use.
