I went to a club for the first time in April and its now December
both my ears rang loudly afterwards but after a few days the right ear stopped ringing yet the left continues to ring.
I read on google that tinnitus wasn’t curable so i put it down as that…however i can feel like a scab-like thing in the ear cannal.
wondered if that may be a cause of ringing rather than tinnitus ?

I’ve had tinnitus since I was a young kid. It seems like it’s getting worse with the cold weather, so I’m wondering if it can get worse in the colder weather?

My mums eyesight is deteriorating very quickly, her eyes are very dry and this all started about a year ago together with her getting tinnitus. She has been to specialist but all have said they cant do anything about either but something needs to be done and quickly. She takes Levothyroxine for an underactive thyroid which apparently is why her eyes are dry?? Any ideas?? Thanks

Okay, so yesterday, I have developed a new tinnitus sound in my left ear and it’s never been a victim of ototoxicity. Okay, so, I wake up, and I notice the new sound in my left ear. I couldn’t believe it. It’s like my brain is filled with the Debrox ear drops I had accidentally used during a perforation. I went to the ENT on emergency and I was finally diagnosed with tinnitus from ototoxicity, but the doctor never told me anything about ototoxicity involving the brain. Instead, he warned me about the possible outcome of my hearing and my ears:
"I’m sorry, but I’m afraid the Debrox may have penetrated your round window membrane, entered your cochlea and caused your ototoxicity. I’m afraid you are going to lose all your hearing in a matter of months. There’s nothing I can do. I’m really sorry."
That’s what my ENT physician said when I saw him on emergency visit. I came home crying. There was no hope. I’m scared that my ears are dying. Can ototoxicity really involve both ears over time? I wish I could know, because I’m getting scared and I think I’m losing my hearing slowly on both ears.
I wanna ask you guys, am I going to lose all of my hearing just because I used Debrox during a perforation which according to my ENT physician, caused possible progressive ototoxicity? Because I’m really really scared right now. Should have NEVER have used Debrox during an eardrum perforation.

I’m really scared of getting my wisdom teeth out because I’m afraid it’s going to make my tinnitus louder and if that happens my life is over….
Does anyone know if this can happen?
Because I’m really afraid! But it seems like I have to take it out because it’s in the way of my other teeth.

I’ve had mild tinnitus for years but lately it’s been getting worse. I talked to my doctor (GP) about it and he shrugged and said there is nothing to do about it. Still I see ads and such about it now and then. Is it all nonsense or are there truly thing that can help?
