Recently I’ve noticed I occasionally hear a whooshing type sound and echos of certain things. I realized that when I went into a silent area the sounds went away. I listen to loud or very loud music just about everyday if that helps.

I went to this club last night and ever since I’ve had this beeping in my head/ears can’t really describe it!

LOUD, noisy, hiphop, metal..punk and they keep listening for years. All i did was play one note(drum patch ) in my yamaha keyboard 2 years ago and it broke some nerve that made me have hyperacusis and tinnitus badly.i can’t listen to any loud sound now, or it hurts alot deep inside the ear. What is the difference between me and them.. why they don’t get anything?

is it a warning sign or damage sing?

Hi all! I have read up on the Tinnitus thing. I have even visited an ENT. I was given no solution to my ear problem. My right ear feels full and rings quite a bit. I was wondering if there was indeed a way to stop this ringing. I feel like it is realted to my severe allergies. I almost feel like, since mucus is constantly draining from my nose and down my throat, that some of the fluid is getting into the ear. Am I correct in thinking this? Are there any solutions to this problem?

I’ve had a constant ringing/beeping in my ears for the last two weeks and I’m pretty sure it’s tinnitus, can I still listen to music through my computer headphones if I keep the volume very low?

I just can’t live without music but I’m seriously terrified of it getting worse, I even wore earplugs while vacuuming this weekend…

One of my ears became blocked by earwax so I was recommended Boots dual action ear-drops. It was only after using it for 3 days that someone told me that it shouldn’t be used by people who have ringing in their ears, which I do.

I thought the ringing in one ear became worse because, being blocked, it was all I could hear. But having used the ear-drops my ear is now almost clear of wax yet the ringing is still as loud as when it became blocked. The other ear which I did not use the ear-drops on has stayed the same and the ringing is not very noticeable.

I’m worried that because the ear-drops say they shouldn’t be used by people with tinnitus (’ringing in the ears’) that they are why the ringing is worse. I know tinnitus is not curable but I’m 22 (I know, years of high volume headphones) and the louder ringing in one ear is driving me crazy. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Since some weeks ago, when it’s very quit, like when I’m going to bed or when there’s no noise at all, I’ve been hearing a very sharp tone all the time. It’s not really that annoying as normally, when there’s any other noise, I don’t even hear it.
Should I do something against it? Is there a "cure" to it? Should I see a doctor?
