Tinnitus Treatment Archives

I am 20 years old and physically active and the lot. All the studies I hear about tinnitus are for older people, and/or people suffering from hearing loss. There are also studies that suggest loud noises and music can cause this, and that isn’t my problem either. Could it be something with EarNoseThroat?
P.S. I have already been to an ear nose throat specialist. There are no ready treatments for younger peope like me

Remedy for tinnitus – How to be found?

Botox as a cure for tinnitus?

I’ve heard on tv that botox can stop migraine headaches, that are located in the forehead, by deadening the nerves. Just out of curiosity, do you think tinnitus might be stopped, or at least alleviated, by injecting botox into the head around the ears?

I saw my doctor in 2002 about this and he said there was no treatments yet and no cure yet
I have no other symptoms. Just constant ringing in the ears.

i am one of those sufferers of tinnitus for two yrs. and 4 months now. My hearing was profoundly affected and my gait balance as well. Please advise or suggest any helpful solutions.thanks

what is treatment for tinnitus pl let me know?

continious sound in brain , brian scanned nothing found, diagonosised as tinnitus, consulted ent says same thing

It is saddeneing because I have to stand by and witness my gran battling with the ringing noses in her ears! The tinnitus is not the worst though, because she battles to sleep her overall health seems to be getting worse. It appears to me that because she is always so irratable and up tight, she can’t sleep much and nowdays seems to pick up every germ that is doing the rounds. Is this be related to the tinnitus? I am searching for a tinnitus treatment right now.

how can I help my tinnitus?

when I was little, about 5, I was diagnosed with tinnitus and I still have it about 7 years later. I was wondering if there’s anything to get the noise in my ears to go away, preferably a home remedy. tinnitus has made it hard for me to sleep, and I can’t concentrate while taking tests , read, or study which has caused my grades to go down.

I have had ringing ears and sound sensitivity since June 09. Its cause could be contributed to several things. However, at this time there is no treatment available for my tinnitus. I recently read about a treatment called Neuromonics that is available at a nearby ENT clinic and is touted to bring good results for tinnitus suffererers and was wondering if anyone out there has had their tinnitus treated with Neuromonics and what the outcome was for them ? I know what Neuromonics is and how it works but would like to hear from someone who has actually used it and hear their results. Thanks!
The clinic that is offering this Neuromonics program is an ENT office at a reputable clinic and they are making people aware of it. Its also been FDA approved.
Has anyone out there actually tried the Neuromonics program and would like to give their opinion?

I was just wondering if there was something I can do that will speed up the process to curing Tinnitus. Cause I would jump at the chance to be some sort of guinea pig if it’ll help find a cure. I’m sick of having to wait until I’m completely exhausted to fall asleep.

I mean I’m no doctor but if they could just "snip out" the nerve that is cause the ringing, I would so do that.
