Is there even a treatment? For me, it’s not a constant ringing, and my mom’s friend thought it might be my problem because her husband had it, but I’m seeing a specialist on the 22nd. I looked some stuff up about it, and it did say constant exposure to rock concert could cause it, and that’s me in a nutshell, haha.
It’s not the ringing that bothers me, it’s the way that I can’t be around arcades because the vibrations bother me. I can’t be in churches or movie theaters because the noise levels also get to me. I miss going to concerts, and I have one coming up on the 29th which I think would probably be my last if I were able to go without feeling lightheaded or having a panic attack because of the noise. I’m only 17, and I think I screwed my ears over going to so many loud concerts. Blah, this sucks.

I’ve been suffering from tinnitus from the best part of 4 or 6 years years. Its recently gotten worse though. And its really disrupting my sleep and personal life. I’m wondering if theres any home remedies or will i have to go to my gp? Will they have a good solution because i usually find them quite useless. By the i’m 20 yrs old I’ve been quite stupid with my hearing .

Ok I know what the ringing noise is, but I get it for 10 seconds or so every third day (average), I looked around a little online and I found out about it, But what if it happens as often as I am having it? This is going to sound disgusting, but I do think I have a build up of wax or something in my ears, is this linked? (I assume so) And more importantly is it a problem?
In case it matters, I am 16, I read that it is most common in people over the age of 40.
I have tried clearing my ears with ear drops and a ‘home-made’ remedy of warm olive oil (grandparents suggestion).
Any help would be appreciated.
