I am 15. To begin with, my father had Asperger’s. With this, I have a 130 IQ, and perfect pitch which helped me become a good piano player. I also have tinnitus. The problem, though, is while I have all the potential in the world to succeed at whatever I want, I don’t care. I hate the institution of school and all that it stands for, and I also hate most people. I feel that even if I did become successful, make money, and have kids, it’s all pointless. I play games to kill the day, and my only interest is producing music, which I am obsessed with. Still, there is something telling me my potential is huge… but then I don’t give a shit. Can autism be the cause of this?
I understand what you’re saying, and I have plenty of "friends". The problem is that even though I know that B-’s will get me a dead end job with little money, it’s all meaningless anyways.

Besides ringing in my ears I also have pressure (ear pops) and am very sensitive to certain noise now.Is the pressure and sensitivity also symptoms of tinnitus?Ive been to the ENT and had the hearing tests but I forgot to ask the doctor because I was a little freaked out.
Izzy-I asked about my allergies causing the tinnitus but since Im a carpenter and have been around loud noises for about 20 years I think my ENT just wrote it off to that.I might have to see an allergist.

Recently I’ve noticed when I swallow, I can hear these crackling noise in one ear and it’s really bothering me. When I first got this, I never really thought anything of it, thinking it would go away by itself but it’s been there for a good while now. I’ve read people saying tinnitus but it doesn’t sound like tinnitus from the symptoms and signs. I have tried popping my ears, still no good. It doesn’t happen every time I swallow but most times. It’s quite faint. Does anybody have any idea what this is?

So lately ive had a lot going on, my gf broke with me new years, rumours from another ex in college that werent true about me and guys from my old student house causing trouble with me. When i go into college my heart starts racing, i cant really concentrate cos im so nervous and im feeling really uneasy. Im touchy, Irritated and really jumpy. Tonight at my friends house, she came into the kitchen and sort of stormed in joking with me, i nearly lost my life ….. I suffer from PTSD, being the sympoms, tinnitus, derealization as i was in a very bad bullying situation for 6 years in high school. Is there anything I can do ???

So I have schizophrenia but I never got anything physical ruled out. The medicine works fine but whenever I sleep on the left side of my head specifically when I press a specific area of my head on something my symptoms come back worse. I also have tinnitus but I think that could be unrelated…. Can you possibly have a tumor without any other symptoms? I think I heard that anti-psychotics can control hallucinations and disorganized thinking from a tumor.

alright so a month ago i went to a concert and it was very loud. i put headphones in my ears to drown out some of the noise. before the concert my right ear was already acting weird, whenever i breathed out it sounded as if i had a cold but only in that ear, and whenever i scratched myhead near that ear it sounded weird and hollow. last week i noticed that my left ear started going weird and my mom took me to the Er but then we left because i felt as if it wwasn’tsuper eemergencylast night my right ear started going really hot and hurted. now both my ears kind of hurt, keep going hot ANDDD im pretty sure theirs hearing loss going on. i have all the symptoms of tinnitus. my parents tell me that its all in my head(im really paranoid) and im just terrified of going deaf. tthat’sworst thing that could happen to me. i went to my doctor and she prescribed allergy pills because my ear drums looked fine and i passed the hearing test. im going to go back and hopefully she’ll refer me to an ear doctor. am i going to go deaf? has anyone else gone through this? im really really scared.

once in a while I would get this weird thumping sensation in my right eardrum. this would persist intermitently for up to 6 hours. I doubt that this is anything serious because it has been happening for the last 6 years. I am thinking it is tinnitus because when I googled my symptoms it said a few people get thumping sensations instead of ringing in their ears.

I’ve had some horrible symptoms that continue to worsen – sometimes out of nowhere
Started w/ Metallic taste in mouth – horrible. went on for weeks.
Escalated to sudden onset mouth dryness – like to the point where i couldn’t swallow.
Then a few days later (mouth was no longer dry) it was as if someone poured hot pepper all over my mouth, throat, nose, eyes, ears. Burning – again like BAM, out of nowhere.
i WAS being treated for thrush, but i had allergic reactions to all of the treatments (3 different prescriptions made me itch all over). They’re unsure what is going on w/ me, but they (meaning DR’s) are thinking zinc might be a key here and prescribed 200mg/day for 2 weeks + a multivitamin and b-complex. I HAVE lost tons of weight over the last couple years (without dieting) and am underweight by about 10-15lbs now. Anyway – i seem to all of a sudden not be able to tolerate prescriptions, and i’m nervous about taking that high of a dose of zinc. has anyone had something similar? Oh – the other "new" sudden onset symptom is tinnitus. It’s horrible. I"m miserable and it’s affecting Absolutely everything. The other thing is out of no-where 2 days ago, my tongue turned GREEN and i had a fever. it disappeared within a few hours, but very disturbing.

These are my symptoms:
ringing (tinnitus)
dull ache
ear fullness or stuffiness
I have been to the ENT…I do not have an ear infection, hearing and pressure are normal, negative for TMJ, no wax build up. Has anyone else experiened these symptoms and what helped you, if anything. I was told to take Zyrtec and Nasonex along with saline spray which are not really helping.

i have an intercranial lesion from my mri in my left brain,
i do not have any of the symptoms of acoustic neuroma like headaches, tinnitus , drooling etc.
i do however have slight to moderate imbalance in my walk which has prevented me from working for the last several months. invasive brain surgery would involve a very high risk to my hearing in my left ear with possible risk of facial paralysis.
please if anyone can help it would be well appreciated.
