Can you feel these symptoms from hypothyroid?

For the last six months I has been dealing with postpartum thyroiditis. I am now hypothyroid. I have been experiencing ear pain and pressure, tinnitus, headaches, light sensitivity, foggy vision and head, constipation, and dizziness. I just feel weird. Is this all caused by the thyroid or is something else going on? I had labs done and my tsh was 5.8. If this gets treated will these symptoms go away? I just want to feel normal again! Please help!

Woke up to complete hearing loss in left ear?

Hi all I have had probs with ears since I was 11mths old, Doc’s told me i will go eventually deaf, I have a disease of the middle ear. I woke up 3 weeks ago and was completely deaf in my left ear and no it is not wax, I have tinnitus (however you spell it). The tinnitus is deff louder it is a constant loud ringing, my other symptoms are feels like pressure in my ear, constantly feel light headed, have dizziness this happens about 3-4 times a day and I have to sit down otherwise I start to feel very sick, also just above my left ear when my ear starts to hurt my head swells and can be quite painful. I have tried to get an appointment with my doc to be honest it is a complete joke you have to ring in the morning or afternoon at a certain time and there are never any empty slots, I need to know if my hearing is going to comeback or will I stay completely deaf and if the symptoms i have could be something serious?

Thank you

Debra

burning cold feeling in my left foot serious?

Im a 28 yr old female, not overweight.I do have anxiety, with tinnitus as well…I havent found out the reason for the tinnitus, but Today, for the first time I suddenly felt my left foot get a hot/cold sensation, then up to my knee it kinda feels like it wants to go to sleep.Or how it feels when it goes to sleep then starts to fade away…that type of feeling. It happened this afternoon.and is still there,I called the dr who said to come in tommarrow if it still stood tht way.I also felt like i was coming down with some sort of flu…tired, pressure headache, burning eyes.So since I have anxiety, its making me a litlle scared.I read tinnitus and this foot symptom can be poor circulation,a result from something bigger…
btw,Ive seen an ent,had a physical and blood work done, they said it came back fine…about a month ago…

Possible side effects of a pituitary tumour?

Hello there,

I am a middle aged woman who has suspicions about a pituitary tumour. I have been diagnosed with alopecia areata, papilloma (breast leakage) and tinnitus. I was just wondering if any of these symptoms could be linked to, or be side effects of a developing pituitary tumour. Could you also suggest any possible side effects of a pituitary tumour, besides the ones I have mentioned (if they are side effects).

Also, when you post your answer could you please state whether you are a qualified medical professional etc, just so I can gauge which responses may be the most reliable.

Thanks a lot, Dawn.

Long story short:

5 years ago my ex boyfriend punched my face in my car after a night out. I lost my four front teeth, had a punctured ear drum, and now have panick attacks and tinnitus. My doctor did tell me i have these symptoms becuase of the attacks.

It went to court and he pleaded not guilty but the case kept getting posponed. In the end the judge threw the case out becuase there we’re no witnessess, even though there were two police men who saw me after the attack bleeding. The judge said that they both couldnt come for various personal reasons, which i found quite strange.

Ive always thought that maybe my ex boyfriend had got away with what he did becuase he is very wealthy and well respected, he used to be a part of the local conservative party ( im from the UK)

I just want to know do you think i should try to sue him again or bring any court action, is it worth it and possible?

thanks x

I was in a car accident when I was 5, about 10 years ago. I had slight trauma of the head and had to get staples, but that was the end of it for a few months. I’ve had these feelings almost of vertigo and tinnitus mixed with other symptoms. My ears ring, my vision goes about 90% dark, my head feels heavy, and my brain feels as if it’s on fire. I lose my balance and sometimes can topple completely over if I’m not by a wall or something to support myself on. I lose my sense of memory for about 5-10 seconds, and it all just ends with a headache. I just want some help before I have to spend money on a doctor, seeing as it’s insanely expensive.

it doesn’t feel like the bone itself, feels more like the lining underneath my chest wall, and it affects about 2/3rd’s of my chest, than it radiates, the lining of my upper spine, than my trachea, and usually ends up at around my tonsils (tonsils are fine).

On two occassions it has gone to the outter lining of my entire brain.

It’s just like a raw pain, not screaming intense, but hurts enough to only be able to concentrate on it maybe lay in a weird position to try and get rid of it.

I’ve had my ekg, and only have a right bundle block, which is just an electrical problem with the heart where the ventricles fire at different times, and it’s not associated with chest pain. (its a new symptom though)

I’ve been a smoker for 9 years. im 27 now.

I get terrible fatigue while it’s happening, I don’t feel well. My body now dry heaves when I walk to fast and such. everything else is fine, my liver, my kidneys, thyroid, blood count etc. random blood sugar.

Should I just go get a chest X-ray? I asked for a throat x-ray but to no avail. Oh ya, and my ears won’t stop ringing now. I have tinnitus all day long. It’s most annoying when trying to sleep, all i hear is buuuzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. so something definately isn’t right, since tinnitus is just a symptom for something else.
as well, my urine is extremely foamy. dark or clear it’s really foamy. it’s never been like that b4.

any educated guesses????
oh yeah, I don’t get shortness of breath, but what I do get is a sensation of not enough oxygen. I would be in screaming pain if a lung collapsed right? I just muscle through the pain, anywhere from 1-5hrs once a week usually.

Apparently according to my grandmother, we have a family history of Carotid atherosclerosis, and she herself has had three strokes. I get symptoms of Postural hypotension, including the numb hands, tinnitus and bad headaches in my temples/ behind my eyes. Plus I have passed out thrice in the last two months. What are the chances that I could be developing this? I’m 126 lb., 5′9 and the BMI said I was underweight… She also had epilepsy!
I notice little chest pains with shortness of breath every few hours too, but I got used to that, I never worried about it! :/
I’m not deficient on anything though, I got my blood tested the first time I passed out and he said that everything was normal. D:

I need help with punctuation.?

This is a paragraph that I am supposed to correct the punctuation on…Please help……

The patient, 23, present with underlying problems with headaches migrainous in nature. She has underlying depression and was recently started on effexor seventy-five milligrams, long acting tablets, one a day by neurology and her family practice doctor. This seems to have taken care of the headaches but in the last month she has had some dizziness. Mosty when she sits or stands. It does not nother her in bed at night. It has a vertiginous component. She gets dizzy, she says it is like “riding on a merry go round.” She has these symptoms a couple times a day when she sits and leans back for awhile they go away. No accompanying tinnitus or hearing loss or other focal neurologic deficits. Symptoms of depression. Some better but not gone. She still has crying spells but not as often. Still complains of lack of motivation and lack of energy but this is better than before. She still has some early morning awakening and memory difficulties but these are some better. She takes injections of progestin or provera for birth control. Urine pregnancy test is negative.
Obviously it needs more than that but did I ask for anything else. No. The only thing I have been asked to correct is the punctuation.
