Hi everyone, I am 9 weeks pregnant (my first pregnancy) and from the begining of my pregnancy I have this continuous weird ringing in my left ear. It is so loud and stopless and driving me crazy. There are some medications helping this problem such as Diazepam but all categorized in level D for pregnancy (high chance of abnormality in baby). I do not want to take that drugs and I can not tolerate these noises and my normal life is completely destroyed. Anyone ever did (or think) about abortion due to the ear ringing?

I acquired tinnitus July 22nd of this year, a drunk friend thought lighting a fire cracker next to my right ear was a great idea. I own a few rifles, low caliber .22s mostly. Never the less they produce a loud crack, and a good amount of vibration in the stock. I’m not so much worried about the loud sound, as much as the vibration in the stock as I’m resting my head on it.

It’d be great to get some first hand details of how shooting effects tinnitus, even with ear protection.

I’ve read some articles about tinnitus, and there is mention that there is a tinnitus treatment with herbal medicine. Are there any herbal shop in new york that sell them?

I am personally suffering from tinnitus and was given antibiotics thinking I had some sinus infection and the tinnitus was secondary to the infection. 10 days later, and nope not that. I’ve had the tinnitus for well over a month now, and was wondering what is actually given for tinnitus. I can’t seem to find any answers other than biofeedback and "masking" to deal with tinnitus. Any other ideas?

my ear sometimes rings loud or low during the day even when i go to bed it can get loud i have had it for a very long time tell me if there are home remedies to cure it and also if you have had this for a long time it would help

Hi Folks, I am really needing some help, in June 2011 I was in cyprus, i sneezed and something went pop behind my ear, it was horrendous pain, but after some anti-biotics it went away A&E thought i had perferrated my ear drum, but was not sure, Now for the past number of weeks I have had pulsatile Tinnitus, and the most awful pain behind my ear which when i touch I can feel my pulse and it stops the tinnitus when i push slightyly, the pain is radiating up my head to my temple, I feel sick have lost my appeite, i have been to the doc, 1st gave me anti histimeans and nasal spray for Eustacian tube disfunction, 2nd gave me anti biotics for an ear infection, and 3rd has said firstly i had Labrynthitis and now Sinusitis also gave me anti biotics for a viral infection, i have to add behind my ear drums I have fluid and the left one its buldging, which is where i have the noise and pain, I am so ill, i cant work and am seriously had enough seeing docs, I have been referred to ENT but tht is not till end of Feb 2012, i cant take anymore time off work……………can anyone help????

I have had an ear infection recently and I now have an earwax block up in one of my ears. I bought some ear drops, and the instructions said that I shouldn’t use it if I have tinnitus (ringing ears) which I do. is it safe to use anyway?

Hello I waked up today and noticed that I had a large ringing noise in my left ear and I noticed directly that it was tinnitus. I’ve never had it before will it go away by itself or will it be stuck forever?

I’ve had some problem with the ear before. When I like touched the ear I have got the same kind of feeling like when you lift of with a plane and it doesn’t go away for like a day or two.

Should I see a doctor for this problem?

At least I’m pretty sure I was born with it, I can remember having it as far back as 3 years old. It drives me crazy at night time, so I sleep with a fan on, but I’ve gotten so used to it that I can ignore it during the day. Sometimes the volume cranks up really loud though and its louder than everything going on around me.
