Can I sign up as a human guinea pig if it will help cure Tinnitus?

I was just wondering if there was something I can do that will speed up the process to curing Tinnitus. Cause I would jump at the chance to be some sort of guinea pig if it’ll help find a cure. I’m sick of having to wait until I’m completely exhausted to fall asleep.
I mean I’m no doctor but if they could just "snip out" the nerve that is cause the ringing, I would so do that.

Depends what is causing the tinnitus. Excessive noise, ear infections, fluid build up, certain medical ear conditions, TMJ dysfunction, anaemia from iron or vitamin B12 deficiency, a thyroid imbalance or high blood pressure all cause tinnitus. Red wine, cheese and chocolate are known to trigger tinnitus and water retention caused by excessive salt can make tinnitus worse. Eliminating drinks containing caffeine like coffee, teas, and soft drinks can help.
Aspirin, anti-inflammatories, and antibiotics cause tinnitus as they kill the good bacteria in the gut leading to an overgrowth of candida. Probiotics, anti fungal supplements like Pau D’Arco, and the candida diet can all help get rid of candida.
Hypnotherapy is proven as an effective treatment for tinnitus.
ok
I’d also jump at the chance I think. The ringing noise is horrible
Unfortunately, snipping out the cause usually equates to permanent hearing loss.
Most of the tinnitus surgery stops hearing in that ear for good.

There’s a few groups that have been doing some really interesting work on new cures for tinnitus:

I’ve got my fingers crossed!
