Any ideas what causes ringing in the ears or tinnitus?

For the last few weeks it has become so pronounced. It sounds like crickets overlapping, faintly, but it is loud and is distracting. I’m concerned. I have changed jobs (a lot of engineering and security electronics), and wonder if this can have anything to do with it.
Any serious input would help…I’m kind of worried. Thanks. ![]()

Tintinitis is very irritating at times. It can be caused by lots of things like–a bad ear infection, aspirin , other meds or diseases or loud continuous noises like earphone music, lawn mowers, loud rock bands–stuff like that.
There are various things that can help like Homeopathic or natural remedies and some meds you can buy at the pharmacy. There is also "feedback" therapy. Google it and check out all the ways to help it.

Tinnitus is a condition which is caused by poor blood circulation. Sufferers are usually given a medicine which improves the circulation of blood, such as cinnarizine (generic name of a drug) tablets or capsules.
I was formerly connected with a pharmaceutical company.
