I have/had sensitive ears. I had been to like 50 rock concerts and blared music from 1985 to 1995. I started wearing earplugs at concerts. then in a drunken stupor at a nine inch nails concert I removed my earplugs. my ears rang for six months. here is what I do. get a fan in your bedroom and run it constantly. it provides the white noise and drowns it out. or one of those wave machine things works well too. Alprazolam (xanax) can be used to treat it. However, if you have the gene for addition, alcoholic, drug problems. then be careful. try another ENT. acupuncture? good luck brotha. I suffer as well. If you find it a real problem to tolerate I suggest you ask the ENT specialist about it.
