In just one ear, or at all? If so how long did it last and when did it go away? What helps it go away?

I have Tinnitus. It’s getting worse. I sleep with a fan at night and I can hear it over the fan. I recently started to take ginkgo biloba it’s not working. I think I may go to a specialist but I have read there is nothing they can do. Please anything. I am desperate it’s ruining my life. I already have a hearing loss.

i was just wondering cause i have tinnitus in my right ear and ive had it for four years i just got another ear infection with fluid behind the ear and it seem to make the tinnitus louder has anyone had this happen to them and did the ringing go back to normal after please only answer if you have expin this thank you very much

Hello everyone,

About a month or two ago I started to have these strange round flashes of light in my peripheral vision. I’ve noticed that it happens most in the morning when I first wake up. At first it started in my left eye and it only lasts about a second or two and disappears. But now I see it in my left and right eye. When I wake up in the morning it happens about 4 to 5 times and stops. I also have some side symptoms of tinnitus and a little bit of ear/jaw pain(but this began after). I’m a 20 year old male, not overweight, and I have been diagnosed with vitamin b12 deficiency. Anyone with a little more knowledge that can give me some insight would be very helpful. I just want some clues as to if this is something serious if I should worry about or if it’s something that I should disregard unless it continues longer. Thank you in advance.

Has anyone had tinnitus and had it go away? What cause? What helps it disappear?

Had slight ringing in right ear. Went to Ear Nose and Throat Doctor. Did tests. Passed all, everything was ok, hearing, no fluid, no wax, and the tiny hairs were not damaged.

Trying to find the cause of the tinnitus. Not taking any medications. Have narrowed it down to a couple things though….

-6 months ago I dove into shallow beach, hit head on sand…no concussion
-My girlfriend said I grind my teeth at night, I had my overbite corrected, and now have slight TMJ
-7 months ago I shot a loud rifle with no ear protection

I just noticed the tinnitus a month ago though….any help is much appreciated and will do best answer and 5 stars for good advice…

hi im rick a 30 mi have had tinnitus for 4 years but im sick now with fluid behind ear and si nuses are plugged and my tinnitus has seemed louder anyone have this exp and did it get a little better when you got better
