I’m started college in 2010. I was bullied all through school when I was kid. And this has left a damaging scar in my mind. I’ve been to therapy and it has sort of worked, (I also suffer from PTSD. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.) But now being out of therapy, the feelings come rushing back. I am also Very Highly Sensitive. And i’m trying not to let all of this control my life anymore. I keep telling myself, i’m here to help myself not make friends. But it doesn’t work. And that now IT’S MY TURN NOT THEIRS. But it doesn’t seem to work. I also suffer from tinnitus. And bouts of depression due to this. So is there someone out there with any good ideas for me. I don’t want to ruin my life. Which it seems it’s already ruined. Please no rude or mean comments. Telling me to get over it. Because, seriously you never get over being mistreated in school as a kid or an adult.

now my right ear wont stop ringing? Also, if it is possible, will this tinnitus go away?

I went to a gig and I felt my right ear losing sound and then a dull ache down my neck afterwards. This was nearly 4 weeks ago and I still havent regained my hearing fully in that ear. Ive got tinnitus in both ears and since this night its been horrendous in that ear along with the deafness.
Will I ever be able to hear again in that ear? Im worried!!

How serious the noise in ears caused by tinnitus? When i am in an empty room or quiet place like library, there is loud ringing noise in both my ears which is quite unberarable. However, when i am at open-spaced places, the ringing noise can not be heard. Does my condition fit the diagnosis of tinnitus?

I’ve had an MRI and a CT two years ago but I still present with symptoms of an acoustic neuroma (sudden hearing loss that never came back, fullness in the ear, headaches, but not much balance issues). I recurrently have to go back tot he MD when I have pain int he ear or severe tinnitus, only to have it get better by the time my referral to the ENT goes through. This very much waxes and wanes. Any suggestions? Also, I have a history of mastoidectomy with tympanoplasty in late adolescence (20 years ago). And had no real problem with the ear until 3 years ago I had sudden hearing loss and tinnitus.

Does such a remedy or treatment exist????

It is saddening because I have to stand by and witness my granny battling with the ringing noses in her ears! The tinnitus is not the worst though, because she battles to sleep her overall health seems to be getting worse. It appears to me that because she is always so irratable and up tight, she can’t sleep much and nowdays seems to pick up every germ that is doing the rounds. Is this be related to the tinnitus? I am searching for a tinnitus treatment right now.

I have a sound in my year for about 6 months now, its not as much a ringing as a singing, my ear is just constantly singing to me I know that sounds weird but its the best way to describe it. My Dad says its probably tinnitus but he always seems a but worried and says that he hopes it only short term. Should I be worried?

okay. so i used to get ear infections all the time, and the last one i remember was really bad and i had like a blister in my ear (gross i know) but it like popped or something and i’ve had a ringing in my ear ever since. that was like 7 or so years ago. i’m pretty sure its tinnitis, but is there anyway you can get rid of it. i have really bad hearing, and i dont really want to get a hearing aid at age 17. that wouldn’t be too fun.
oh yeah. sorry its not an earring infection, its one of those that are deep inside the ear.
