Tinnitus Symptoms, Causes & Treatment
I have had a constant ringing in my ears for several years. My hearing is still good, but I never experience total silence.
I just recently consumed a good amount of alcohol. And now I hear the tinnitus. Is this temporary or is it permanent? please help!!?!?!??!!?
I am a 41 yr old who has had mild tinnitus for 25 years but in the last few months is has become very bad in one ear and I am also suffering from hyperacusis in that ear. I have seen my GP and am waiting to see an ENT specialist but wondered if there is any way to relieve the tinnitus which is becoming quite distressing.
I have been having chiropractic adjustments for years with lots of success, but, I change locations often, due to my husbands type of work, which means, I have been to many different chiropractors, some are fantastic, instant relief, others have no effect at all. When my neck is out of allignment I have splitting headaches and my tinnitus is unbearable,a new symptom I have not had before is pins and needles in my left fingers, are these symptoms common with other sufferers.
Suddenly about 2 weeks ago or less I noticed ringing in my ears…it has been constant eversince. But at different intensities.I dont know the cause,I have two toddler that are in the habit of screaming all the time now,Can this be the cause?I have been extremely stressed out latley, now even worse causeof this.Everythig i read on the net says it permanent.I get bad anxiety and panic attacks ,I had them under control til recently, and felt real good, til this. Now I really feel dpressed and like im gonna go nuts!!And this scares me.I dont want to have to take antidepressants for this, cause it will make me feel oblivious and not the same "me" for my children.MY dr,said my ears looked fine and that tinnitus is common. That he felt it would probally go away by a few weeks. Can this be true,i read that the more constant it is…the more chance it is permanant..so who to believe???
Anyone have experiences with constant tinnitus for a couple weeks then disapear???
Also, can kids yelling cause this??I know my daughter can be quit loud at times…but isnt that normal for someones ears?
