I can tell its been helping me alot but idk if like i can get it just because my ears ring constantly Anyone think i may be able to get it perscribed from my doctor ?

I went to the ENT today for the maddening tinnitus I have been suffering with. I went to a bar last sat and every since they have been ringing. Although I had a sinus infection 3 weeks ago, and my ear has been full every since then. Well the ENT told me I have wax on my eardrum and my eardrum is retracted. He gave me nasonex and ear wax removal. So what is causing it? He doesn’t know. He says it could be, the loud music from the bar, the wax, the sinus infection, or the retracted eardrum, or any of the above. Any of you been through this? what did you do to relieve the ANNOYING buzzing?

I have mild hearing loss in one ear, extremely (to the point of insanity) protective over my ears and what’s left of them.

I worry about mixing down a track, but then often think of Brian Wilson who was deaf in one ear. I think there’s somebody who I can look up to.

I’m wondering what other musicians are doing to cope.

I’ve been getting occasional tinnitus, but I haven’t been to rock concerts, night clubs and don’t work in a noisy work environment.

Alright i have tinnitus right? But all the time when my tinnitus is kicking in……I can hear air changes like when someone opens a door. It’s like a high pitched tone….then gets higher when someone walks past,opens something or sometimes when the temperature changes? is this normal to pick up very quiet sounds?

I know what causes all of those things, I just want to know, what steps are being taken to eliminate the problem, also, if there’s a reliable organization I could donate money to to support their research for it.
I just wanna know, what’s being done to help restore our hearing, and stop tinnitus?

I constantly hear a hissing sound in the right ear. (since 2 years). All other body parameters are normal. I do not suffer any other disease.

is this normal? my ears were checked and theyre fine-?
