I am having a bunch of symptoms and no one seems able to tell me what’s wrong or what kind of specialist I may need to see. I have had skin problems, hair falling out, salty tasting skin and this morning I woke up really dizzy and lightheaded. I also have tinnitus which has gotten a bit worse. Also about 1 month ago, my hands started "falling asleep" ar night while I slept. This happens off and on in my sleep, but it wakes me up when it does happen. I am a divorced, mom of a 13 year old girl and I have TONS of stress in my life. I can’t afford to go from Dr. to Dr. in search of an answer, but i am getting concerned about my health. I am the only one around that my daughter has to take care of her, Her dad died about 5 years ago. I am on thyroid meds and that has taken care of some symptoms, but others are continuing to go on and I dan’t know what to do and I am scared!! Does anyone know what might be happening to me or what kind of Dr. I need to see?

I have tinnitus, and my hearing has worsened over the years. I’d like to know if this can advance to become severe enough to force me to learn sign language

I’ve suffered from tinnitus (constant ringing in the ears) for some time- it seems to get worse when I’m stressed out or upset. My understanding is that there’s really no cure for it, but is there any natural way of reducing it’s effects?

I have tried using a fan but don’t like the breeze and masking machines are expensive.

Went to the doctors this morning, because my right ear felt.. clogged up, I already know I have tinnitus. She said that my right ear had quite a bit of wax in it. So she said that I should get some ear drops, so I got some EAREX and used it today x2.
The ear feels "less" clogged up, but my tinnitus in my right ear seems to be more noticeable?
Is this because of the wax ?
Thanks.

when I was little, about 5, I was diagnosed with tinnitus and I still have it about 7 years later. I was wondering if there’s anything to get the noise in my ears to go away, preferably a home remedy. tinnitus has made it hard for me to sleep, and I can’t concentrate while taking tests , read, or study which has caused my grades to go down.

I have had ringing ears and sound sensitivity since June 09. Its cause could be contributed to several things. However, at this time there is no treatment available for my tinnitus. I recently read about a treatment called Neuromonics that is available at a nearby ENT clinic and is touted to bring good results for tinnitus suffererers and was wondering if anyone out there has had their tinnitus treated with Neuromonics and what the outcome was for them ? I know what Neuromonics is and how it works but would like to hear from someone who has actually used it and hear their results. Thanks!
The clinic that is offering this Neuromonics program is an ENT office at a reputable clinic and they are making people aware of it. Its also been FDA approved.
Has anyone out there actually tried the Neuromonics program and would like to give their opinion?

The doctors can’t find any medical cause for it and there is no hearing loss. How common is that? Why did it happen? What can I do to make it go away if anything?

If it can why does it cause tinnitus? Ear wax doesnt damage the inner ear does it?

I was just wondering if there was something I can do that will speed up the process to curing Tinnitus. Cause I would jump at the chance to be some sort of guinea pig if it’ll help find a cure. I’m sick of having to wait until I’m completely exhausted to fall asleep.
I mean I’m no doctor but if they could just "snip out" the nerve that is cause the ringing, I would so do that.
