I have had ringing in my ear for many years now it didn’t used to bother me but now it is driving me nuts, what is the best remedy or treatment for tinnitus?

I hear that tinnitus can be caused by bone movement, that could have happened because of my braces. Can having them removed stop the tinnitus?
