I’ve tried so many different remedies for tinnitus. Lately it’s gotten so immensely bad it interferes with my sleep and daily life. It’s hard to concentrate on anything. Am I just supposed to "live with it"? What other option do I have?!

in the affected ear pour saline solution and let it remain for 10 min, afterwards drain it out. (They never said how make this solution at home).

Another one is
Two to three drops of onion juice when poured into the ear also help the condition

Another one is
Take 300 mg. a day of Coenzyme Q10 (Seem to high of a dose to take)

Finally
Ginkgo biloba Tablets. (Does not tell you how much to take)

I am cautious about putting onion juice in my ear. I do have a rare severe reaction to yucca extract. (Yucca extract is used if some drinks to make it foam more, mainly fruit drinks).

Can Tinnitus be caused by the normal flu (No I didn’t have h1n1 confirmed by the test and the doctor). This normal flu turned into bronchitis and than I got Tinnitus. I had my ears cleaned out and still have the buzzing. The noise is really annoying.
I would like to hear from people who tried any of these methods and did it work? Thank you.

Having tinnitus, also known as ringing in the ears, makes me feel lonely, agitated, sad, and depressed most of the time. I went to a hearing specialist, and I can hear above average with both ears, and he gave me water pills for my ears and that didn’t work. I remember the exact moment that the tinnitus started without my consent, and that started in July 2007. Ever since then, I have been suffering from this tormenting condition. I am also waiting for a prayer to be answered that the tinnitus will stop as it so easily started. Has anyone found a cure or successful treatment for tinnitus?

my husband suffer tinnitus disease since five year.doctor suggest use hearing aid but these day he was facing many difficulty in listening through hearing aid without hearing aid thats why doctor suggest MRI in this report mastoid air cell problem . what can i do better treatment plz answer me?

Hi am new to this site. Been diagnosed with MD for last 5 years but just lately (last six months) tinnitus has developed in both ears with fluctuating hearing loss. Am waiting to go back to my consultant (he signed me off in Jan. 2007) and wondered if anyone else has experienced this. I don’t have full blown attacks anymore (take Serc 3 x day) but am dizzy all the time and constantly feel off balance, as if I;ve just got off a roller coaster ! I feel absolutely dreadful some days, better others. Have also started experiencing pain in the head, with migraine like symptoms. Have had two of these "attacks" in four days, both on waking, where vision is blurred and pain builds up until I can’t focus. This can last for several hours until vision clears but leaves me feeling exhausted and disorientated. Had one today and feel very sick. Can anyone help here ?
