I am 55 years old, have had this condition for about ten years, it is a very high pitched ringing in both ears.

What are ALLLL the ways to get Tinnitus? (the ringing in your ears). or the most common way?
you can’t just wake up one day and have it right?
and before you get it you have symptoms right? what are they? you don’t just suddenly get it right? thank you

Is there a cure for tinnitus

in the affected ear pour saline solution and let it remain for 10 min, afterwards drain it out. (They never said how make this solution at home).

Another one is
Two to three drops of onion juice when poured into the ear also help the condition

Another one is
Take 300 mg. a day of Coenzyme Q10 (Seem to high of a dose to take)

Finally
Ginkgo biloba Tablets. (Does not tell you how much to take)

I am cautious about putting onion juice in my ear. I do have a rare severe reaction to yucca extract. (Yucca extract is used if some drinks to make it foam more, mainly fruit drinks).

Can Tinnitus be caused by the normal flu (No I didn’t have h1n1 confirmed by the test and the doctor). This normal flu turned into bronchitis and than I got Tinnitus. I had my ears cleaned out and still have the buzzing. The noise is really annoying.
I would like to hear from people who tried any of these methods and did it work? Thank you.

Why would any radio station play that commercial? They play this loud, extended, whiny pitch, trying to duplicate what a person with tinnitus would hear. I’d bet they are creating customers. I instantly change the channel!

I have been having really bad ringing in my ears for months and my doctors can’t figure out whats wrong.

I’m 21 years old and I’ve already had my hearing tested and the tests came back normal. please help.

Went shooting 5 days ago without ear protection. Ear ringing was really bad for the first 2 days, right ear was worse than left ear. Day 3 right ear was great, left ear still ringing. Now, 5 days later, my left ear is REALLY ringing, and feels achy & muffled. I’m wondering if it could be an ear infection or permanent tinnitus?

Also, it is the weekend, and no ENT doctor is open. Should I go see a regular doctor since they are open? I don’t want to wait 2 days to go see an ENT, but if it is going to be most beneficial, I will.

I have had tinnitus on and off, tension headaches, dizziness, confusion and disorientation. I have had every check up in the book, MRI scans, heart cardiographs, chest x-rays, blood tests and still nothing! I have had hot flushes for seven months now for no apparent reason and I have no idea what is going on. Neurologically, I’ve been given the all clear and the doctor now thinks it could be a virus of some kind. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be? Is there anyone else experiencing similar symptoms? Thank you for your help.
