I just started physical therapy for myofasical dysfunction and occipital nerve tinnitus and whenever I use the ice packs or do the recommended stretches, I get so nauseous that I can barely function. Is this normal or should I be calling my PT to find out what the heck is going on?

I know you can use stem cells and what not to create new organs in a lab. I’ve even seen a rat with an ear growing on its back. My question – is it possible that you can grow a near eardrum that can be surgically implanted to replace the original? I am not sure how complicated an organ the eardrum is compared to hearts, livers, and what have you. It seems pretty sensitive… thoughts?

My heart breaks when I have to stand by and watch my gran battling to cope with ear ringing! The tinnitus is not the worst of it though, because she struggles to sleep her general health is also starting to suffer. It seems that as she is always so tired and anxious, she doesn’t get to sleep for long and nowdays seems to catch every infection that is going around. My theory is that this be resulting from the tinnitis? Where can I get a tinnitus treatment for her.

I am a teenager and I have constant tinnitus. I got it during an ear infection a year ago and it has not gone away. I took hearing tests, and the tests say my hearing is perfect, and I can hear eveything fine, but the ringing bothers me. I have no symptoms of any other disease, so I don’t know what to do.
