I have had tinnitus for nearly a year now and am now rather deaf in my right ear as a result. I also get bronchitis a lot.like about every six months. I am on a lot of tablets for my heart so have to be careful about what I take in conjunction with what I am on.

Tinnitus cure – where can i find it now?

Guys, is there any of you who know about Tinnitus cure? How to stop ringing in my ears? I was told simply to try and ignore the ear buzzing noise that was filling my head. I tried, I even bought the ‘calming music’ to help me. It didn’t work.

I really need your help now.

I am surprised that there are not much treatments available. I am desperate. Any one tried hypnosis?

Sorry! (ringing of the ear) is a statement. Can’t delete the question mark.

My heart breaks when I have to stand by and watch my mom suffering with ear ringing! The tinnitus isn’t the worst though, because she battles to get her general health seems to be deteriating. It appears to me that as she is so stressed and anxious, she can’t sleep for long and nowdays seems to catch every sickness that is doing the rounds. My theory is that this be resulting from her tinnitus? I am looking for a tinnitus treatment right now.

What are ALL the causes of tinnitus?

I’ve had tinnitus for over a year now. Mine is a high pitch/hum, I can drown it out in the right environment, almost can feel it when it is very quiet. I don’t believe that mine is caused by hearing loss/damage like the ENT’s are saying. Why? Cause I can make my tinnitus louder when I move my jaw a certain way, or when I flex my neck muscles and other movements. If the noise is coming from my brain or from ear damage, how the heck can I make it louder???? Doesn’t make sense at all! So, I’m trying to figure out what IS causing it. I have had many tests that can rule out a few things. I’ve had an MRI, no tumors. Checked thyroid, diabeties, Iron level, cholesterol, high blood pressure, all are OK. So what else could it be?

tinnitus help!! 15 years old.?

it’s a long story. from the beginning: i started to hear the ringing on a thursday which was the day i started to get the first half of my braces off. it was so annoying and i didn’t sleep all night. i went to the emergency center because i had to go on a plane trip and i wanted to know if it could worsen on the flight. the doctor said it was tinnitus and he said it should go away in only a couple of days. after 2 days i called my doctor and he told me that it was also tinnitus and it should go away in 2 to 3 weeks. it’s been 2 1/2 weeks and im still hearing it. i first thought it could have been that i took my braces off but the doctor said that it was impossible. i did listen to my ipod loud but i never really listened to it for very long. i thought it could be stress but now there could be so many reasons. i’m only 15 and i read this normally happens when youre much older. i’m also freaking out that i could get hearing loss because i love music and i play the guitar. i’m trying a medicine that i supposed to help the ringing but when i called to ask them how long it should be before it starts to heal it and they said 2 months!! which i think is unbelievable because that’s too long for a medicine to kick in. but the biggest worry i have is that i may have a brain tumor. i know it sounds dramatic but my uncle had a brain tumor and one of his symptoms was tinnitus. if anybody has any info that may calm me down it would be very cool. i’m just tired of falling asleep with the radio on white noise.
i forgot to say that the doctor had checked both my ears and they were clean. no ear infections or discharges
