Telling Sinus Tinnitus from others?

Is there a way to tell what type of tinnitus you have without going to the doctor, and is tinnitus caused by sinuses curable, or at least easily treated?

i suffer from severe allergies and at present suffer from tinnitus – ringing in the right ear. Also have significant loss of hearing in the right ear.

It is just frightening to stand by and witness my grandmother struggling to cope with ear ringing! The tinnitus is not the worst though, as she battles to fall asleep her general health is also starting to suffer. It seems that as she is so irratable and up tight, she doesn’t get to sleep much and nowdays seems to catch every infection that is going around. Is this be resulting from her tinnitus? Where can I get a tinnitus remedy right now.

Is it normal to get tinnitus at age 16?

I think i just got tinnitus because i hear a constant high pitched sound in my ear, will i be getting hearing loss? Also, is it normal to get it at this age?
