I don’t have Tinnitus, so I can’t check. I am wondering, if someone with Tinnitus can do a little test. Close your eyes, and ask someone you know to snap their fingers, hit 2 coins together, or any other small sound above, in front, below, and behind your head – and let me know if you can tell the difference between the audio positions with your eyes closed.
Thanks.

Can Cold Laser Therapy cure Tinnitus?

I have been hearing a lot lately about Cold Laser Therapy, this place www.yourhealthygp.com are claiming that it cures migraine, tinnitus, back pain etc. has anyone heard of this and does it work? I will be contacting them first thing Monday, its the weekend where I am and they are shut, I only hope its true.

It is just too sad to stand by and witness my daughter battling to cope with the ringing in her ears! The tinnitus is not the worst though, because she find it hard to get to sleep her overall health seems to be deteriating. It seems to me that because she is always so tired and up tight, she doesn’t get to sleep much and nowdays seems to pick up every sickness that is doing the rounds. Can this be resulting from her tinnitus? I am searching for a tinnitus remedies right now.

Tinnitus Cure?

I am seeking a site where I can read about a ringing in the ears

Tinnitus Treatment?

Can you recommend a site where I can learn some more about tinnitus.

I’ve suffered from tinnitus for more than ten years now, but in the last few years symptoms have really started to take a turn for the worse and now the condition has become quite painful physically. I experience constant earaches, headaches, soreness/tingling, and occasional vertigo (though no insomnia). Anyone know of any alternative remedies (e.g. acupuncture, herbal medicines, etc.,) that may help?
Let me elaborate a bit….I know what caused my tinnitus: it was my years and years of constant headphone use (something which has made me feel like a bit of a spokesperson for people who use I-pods).

There’s no question about that because I’ve never had any tumors and I don’t suffer Meniere’s Disease.

I think the original symptoms (while somewhat alarming) didn’t really bother me. Only since the physical pain started has this really started to make life difficult.

I have a friend who has had tinnitus for a week now with episodes of orthostatic hypotension and his doctor told him to drink more water and add more salt to his diet. Is this good advice?

Tinnitus ???

Ok I am 14 years old, and today I have been diagnosed with tinnitus. I do listen to music loud and play guitar loud, but that will have t o change … OK on with the story, this has been going on since Saturday. My doctor has given me an anti-inflammatory medicine. And he said if that doesn’t work he would refer me to a specialist. Is there a chance my tinnitus can go away, because on this one medical site I read that the ringing can decrease volume wise, or be elimentated. Is it possible my tinnitus can "go away" …?
Actually ge gave me a sample of methylprednisolone which I found out is a steroid, will this help me??? Please I need to know, and even if I get treatment, will I be able to play shows w/ my band ???
